“Cooking with Herbs”
Marinades, sauces, dressings – whether you grow your own or buy them fresh, you’ll come away from this demonstration with many simple techniques and recipes for growing, storing and cooking with a few of the most common culinary herbs. We’ll marinade and cook some fish and meat, prepare a quick and easy herb pasta sauce and create a few simple herb dressings. Bring your note pad, your taste buds and your appetite to this Cooking WithHerbs demonstration-class. You will sample all of the recipes that will be prepared.
A little info on Chris ~
Chris De Santis has been organic gardening for 30+ years. Herbs have always been a main stay of his garden because Chris is also an experienced regional Italian chef, developing many of his own originalrecipes over the years. Chris gained most of his experience working inrestaurants in New York and Wisconsin, and is currently thechef/instructor of Intorno all Tavola, teaching demonstration-classes in traditional regional Italian cooking, and offering private and executivebusiness dinners, as well as fun and motivational team-building workshops.
